When the aroma of freshly roasted Sterz wafts through the streets of Burgenland, a culinary journey between tradition and creative diversity begins. What was once served as a simple farmer's meal now celebrates its big stage as a real cult dish - honest, down-to-earth and full of character.
More than just a dish is created in the steaming pan: this is where craftsmanship, regionality and living history come together. Crispy fried, golden brown roasted, savory or surprisingly sweet - Sterz shows just how versatile a classic can be.
