NATURE, CULTURE & ENJOYMENT DAY ON THE KITZSTEINHORN
Traditional alphorn sounds can be heard at the most beautiful vantage points, while the Gletschermühle restaurant invites you to a morning pint: Pinzgau specialties can be tasted and purchased at gourmet stands, while Pinzgau manufactories offer handmade spice mills and ceramics.
Farmers' doughnuts and a roast (Austrian roast pork) are served as a lunchtime special. In addition, the Sumpfpitzinga from Maishofen will create the perfect atmosphere with their energetic interpretation of traditional Tanzlmusi.
At 2:00 pm, all alphorn groups will come together on the terrace of the Gletschermühle to bring the day to a fitting close.
Rangers from the Hohe Tauern National Park will provide an extra dose of nature and culture during the day: On the "Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour" through four climate zones and the free "National Park Gallery Tour", they provide exciting insights into the mountain world of the Hohe Tauern - an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
