The basics of Ayurvedic teachings combined with an enjoyable cooking workshop.
Ayurveda has its origins in India. The idea behind this "system" is based on the elements (space, air, fire, water, earth) and is therefore not limited to Indian culture. Today, modern European Ayurveda is practiced, which is oriented towards our needs and taste habits.
The principle of Ayurveda: Every person, every body is different and the diet should be individually tailored accordingly. Our constitution, our individual "nature" plays a very important role in this. On this day, you will learn about the different Ayurvedic constitutional types - and your own - as well as the effect of tastes and their properties on the body. You will then consciously distinguish between what is beneficial and (possibly) less digestible for you.
After the introduction, we will cook a vegetarian Ayurvedic lunch menu together - using mainly local and seasonal products - and immediately put into practice what we have learned in theory.
