Schleier waterfall - highest waterfall in the Zillertal valley At the end of the valley in Hintertux, below the Gefrorenen Wand, the Tux waterfalls plunge into deep rock cauldrons. The screw waterfall and the cave near the Spannagelhaus were already placed under nature protection in 1964. On the way towards Weitental you will pass the Schleier waterfall. Refresh yourself at one of the many springs in nature or simply at any water tap - the Tux water has drinking water quality! Tip: Leisurely hike from the 1st gondola station on the Sommerberg in the direction of the Tuxer Joch to the Weitental, then you come directly to the Schleier waterfall and via the Bichlalm back to the valley. Duration: approx. 4 hours
