Description
A court hearing is taking place in Oppenheim am Rhein. The tavern owner is insisting on payment for the past few months’ bills. The debtor is none other than the mayor! But he has been missing for weeks—without a trace! And in general, it seems that something isn’t quite right in this tranquil wine-growing village. The district court judge, who has traveled all the way from Munich, is supposed to shed light on the situation and bring order to the matter—but just minutes into the hearing, he finds himself in danger of getting entangled in a web of lies, nepotism, and ominous real estate deals....
