At the end of their African vacation, Carola (Nina Hoss) and Stefan (Janek Rieke) unexpectedly make the acquaintance of the handsome Samburu warrior Lemalian (Jacky Ido). As if hypnotized by the exotic stranger, Carola decides to stay. She cancels the return flight without further ado and sends her boyfriend Stefan home alone. She immediately sets off in search of the unknown African wilderness and actually finds the man of her dreams in his village. With incredible energy and the firm determination to live by Lemalian's side in the future, Carola embarks on a time between heaven and hell and an adventure that pushes the boundaries of what is humanly possible.
