The Widderstein is one of the most striking and frequently climbed peaks in the border region of Bregenzerwald, Kleines Walsertal, Lechtal and Allgäu. A classic summit tour with a short ascent, easy climbing passages and magnificent panoramic views. From the Hochtannberg Pass along the marked hiking trail towards the Widdersteinhütte (2,015 m). Shortly before the hut, turn left towards the summit ascent. Follow the markings to the summit ridge, which is partly exposed, then it is about 10 minutes to the summit cross. The descent is via the same route.

Difficulty level: I+ (not very difficult - according to the ÖAV alpine scale)
Registration: by 16:00 on Wednesday at your tourist office
Equipment: ankle-high mountain boots with treaded soles, functional clothing, wind and rain protection, rucksack, water bottle, provisions, sun protection, seat and chest harness provided by the mountain guide
Prerequisites: Health, required fitness level and surefootedness
Number of participants: minimum 4, maximum 8 people
