The Chorin Monastery is dedicating the year 2025 entirely to book art. With the special exhibition "Beautiful Books at Chorin Monastery" (April 5 - September 7), readings, workshops and a large book festival in September, books and their creators will be celebrated.
Other cultural highlights include:
the Easter Days with market (April 19-21),
the music festival CHORINale (May 30),
the Book Festival (April 30).-April 21),
the CHORINale music festival (May 30 - June 1),
the traditional Chorin Summer of Music (June 21 - August 31),
the Herb and Ceramics Days (October 4/5),
the Herb and Ceramics Days (October 4/5),
and the Chorin Summer of Music (August 31).
The special exhibition "Acoustic View" (from October).
There are also chapel concerts, meditation offers, photo walks, workshops on fruit tree care, guided tours and special offers for families and children.
Tip: A visit is also worthwhile outside of the events - with a permanent exhibition, monastery café, hiking trails and the impressive atmosphere of the monastery grounds.
