Imposing gorge hike to the Zufall hut

We take the hotel bus to the starting point of our hike into the rear Martell Valley. The road carved into the rock, which winds along the Zufrittstausee reservoir, is an experience in itself. From the parking lot, we cross a bridge to a small pond, the first of a total of 8 info points. We continue our hike and reach

reach 4 different gorge installations made of Corten steel, which bring the gorge to life. The trowel, crescent, pulpit and suspension bridge each offer visitors a different special encounter with the gorge. There are impressive views down into the roaring waters of the Plima stream, which carves its way through the gorge with the force of nature. The climb up to the old dam wall is worthwhile. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the glaciers of the Ortler group. Before we descend back to the parking lot, we can stop for a bite to eat at the beautifully situated Zufallhütte.
