In the footsteps of the Hintertux Glacier - hike over the Tuxerjoch!
We take the bus to Hintertux, from where we ascend to the Tuxerjoch. We hike past the Schleier waterfall and through the idyllic Weitental valley, home to many marmots. Once at the top, we enjoy the magnificent view of the Tuxer Ferner. We then hike down to the Sommerbergalm and look forward to a refreshment stop. After refreshments, we return to the valley by cable car.

Equipment: snacks and drinks, sun protection, windproof clothing, spare T-shirt, possibly a headband, take money for the descent and refreshments!
