Arrival by car:

Coming from the north, take the Bolzano Sud highway exit and continue towards Appiano and then towards the Mendola Pass.

Coming from thesouth, exit at Neumarkt/Auer in the direction of Weinstraße and Kalterer See, continue in the direction of Mendelpass. Or exit at Trento Nord, continue on the SP235 in the direction of Mezzolombardo, then continue on the SS 42 in the direction of the Mendola Pass.

Coming from Merano, drive over the Gampen Pass, pass Fondo and then head towards the Mendola Pass.

If you'd rather avoid the winding Mendel Pass road with its 15 hairpin bends but magnificent views, you can also take the Mendelbahn cable car!

Arrival on foot with the Mendelbahn:

From St. Anton near Kaltern (510 m), the Mendelbahn takes you up to the Mendel Pass (1363 m) around three times an hour every day in just 13 minutes. From there, you can enjoy the breathtaking view over the entire Überetsch region, Lake Kaltern, Bolzano, the Adige Valley and the Dolomites. Bicycle transportation is possible. Dogs can also be taken along. The full price per person must be paid for dogs. From the Mendel Pass it is only a short walk (7 minutes) to your chalet.
