Alpendorf Promenade in winter

The starting point is Alpendorf. To the right of the Hotel Tannenhof, past the Hotel Alpenschlössl, a flat path leads through wooded areas to the Grubhof farm. During this walk you have a wonderful view of the Salzach Valley. From the Grubhof you can walk along the Grossarl country road into the town center, where numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to linger. You can return the same way or take the public bus (line 540 St. Johann - Grossarl).
