Here, we’ll enjoy the breathtaking view of the Stillach Valley and the Allgäu Main Ridge. After a break or stop for refreshments, a scenic farm road leads us down to Schwand and on to the ski jump’s takeoff tower. We hike back to Renksteg along a well-maintained trail that runs along the southern shore of Freibergsee. From here, we can take the bus back to the hotel or hike back.\n\nDistance: approx. 8 km\n\nElevation gain: 405 m | Elevation loss: 416 m\n\nWalking time round trip: approx. 3 h\n\nReturn with a stop for refreshments: approx. 5:00 p.m. / 5:30 p.m.\n\nSturdy footwear is required, and a good level of basic fitness is necessary.\n\nPlease register in advance by Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Registration for this event is binding.
