Outdoor sauna

The Appenzell spa includes a varied and stylish sauna landscape. Our pride and joy is the large Finnish outdoor sauna with plunge pool and cool spring water. Here you can enjoy a sauna with a direct view of the green Appenzell landscape. Several times a day you will be pampered with special infusions in the outdoor sauna.

Herbal sauna

The scent of natural remedies such as eucalyptus and roses gives the herbal sauna a special atmosphere. The heat of 55 degrees and the scent of high-quality herbs have a relaxing and revitalizing effect and are particularly good for your skin.

Infusions

You will find the following infusions in our outdoor sauna and in the herbal sauna: Ice balls with various fragrances and singing bowls.

Brine steam bath

In the brine steam bath, steam made from dissolved mineral salts and invigorating scented oils creates a special climate. The enriched moist mist cleanses the skin, lungs and bronchial tubes and clears the airways.

Fitness

A wide range of state-of-the-art endurance and strength training equipment is available to our guests to improve their performance.

Bio-Circuit is a personalized workout that allows you to achieve your personal fitness goals in the shortest possible time using state-of-the-art Biodrive technology. The guided program offers you an exciting training experience without adjustments or waiting times. The individual exercises of the circuit training program contain all the elements for optimal muscle activation. The workout is quick and effective and can be completed at any time.
