13th Alpine Ski Touring Race "Carezza Trophy"

Ready for the ultimate ski touring race under the starry sky in Carezza?

On Saturday, 31 January 2026, the Carezza Trophy will take place for the 13th time beneath the Rosengarten – an event that will make every ski mountaineer’s heart beat faster!

The race starts at 6 p.m. at the Laurin I cable car valley station in Welschnofen | Nova Levante, from where participants can choose between two routes:

Short course: Welschnofen | Nova Levante → Ascent to the Frommer Alm hut (approx. 550 m elevation gain)

Long course: Welschnofen | Nova Levante → Ascent to the Tschein mountain station → Descent to Hotel Moseralm → Ascent to Franzin Alm → Descent to Hotel Moseralm → Ascent to Tschein mountain station → Descent to Frommer Alm (approx. 1,400 m elevation gain)

The race office is located at the Frommer Alm hut, which also serves as the finish line.

After the sporting challenge, participants can look forward to a cosy get-together with pasta and the award ceremony at the Franzin Alm hut.
