On the La Forra estate in Tuscany, you will experience an authentic insight into the traditional cattle work of the Italian shepherds, the Butteri. After intensive preparation with trail training and obstacle exercises in the riding arena, you will head out into the open countryside: together with the butteri, you will learn how to lead herds of cattle and separate individual animals from horseback.
The horses are original Maremmano horses, ridden in traditional costume, which respond finely to weight and leg aids. In addition to the riding sessions, you will enjoy Tuscan hospitality: comfortable accommodation, a wellness area and excellent Italian cuisine round off your experience.
