Guided hike to Schwarzsee at the Timmelsjoch

We drive to the far end of the Passeier Valley to the Timmels Bridge on the Timmelsjoch Road. From there, we’ll hike through the unspoiled Timmel Valley up to the Timmelsalm at 1,974 m. We’ll continue through the impressive high-alpine landscape of the Unterkrumpwasser, where the young Passer River winds its way through the vast alpine meadows in numerous bends.

Our destination is the Großer Schwarzsee at 2,514 m, impressively nestled in the mountain world of the Ötztal Alps. We’ll return via the same route, with a chance to stop for refreshments at the Timmelsalm.
