Look forward to a very special anniversary in Germany's highest town. From July 2 to 4, 2027, a lively festival weekend awaits you around the market square of Oberwiesenthal - with history to touch, regional tradition and many encounters.
A highlight is the standing parade on Sunday, July 4, 2027, from 11:00-17:00. Instead of a classic parade, you will discover lovingly designed scenes at fixed locations in the city center. Clubs, families, businesses and neighborhoods show historical pictures, old professions, club life and personal stories from 500 years of spa history. You can stroll from station to station, talk to those involved and experience Oberwiesenthal from new perspectives.
On all three days, you can enjoy the festive atmosphere in the town center: music, small gastronomic offerings, hands-on activities and space for encounters make the anniversary an experience for the whole family.
