4 Lakes Trail with the Ötztal Nature Park

This special hike begins high above Längenfeld, already above the tree line. Four mountain lakes, each with their own character - in terms of color, shape and atmosphere - accompany our path through the impressive high mountain landscape. While we discover the nature around the lakes, it is also worth taking a look at the sky: with a bit of luck, a golden eagle will circle above the Geigenkamm. The glaciated peaks of the Stubai Alps form an impressive backdrop. We enjoy an invigorating Kneipp break at one of the lakes. An advanced nature experience for body, mind and soul.

Challenging hike

Walking time: 7 hours

Metres in altitude: Ascent approx. 1,000 m, descent approx. 1,050 m | highest point at approx. 2,610 m | route length approx. 11 km

Equipment:

Sturdy, ankle-high hiking boots with a good profile, rain protection, snacks and enough drinks and some cash for the stop-off - in case digital means of payment don't work.

Please note: Unfortunately, participation in the hike is not possible without suitable ankle-high mountain boots!
