Guided hike to the Mitterfeldalm - medium

Starting point is the Mitterberg. We start with a leisurely hike to the Windraucheggalm before continuing up to the Mitterfeldalm at 1,690 m above sea level. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains - from the Wiesbachhorn in the Hohe Tauern to the Dachstein in the east and the Tennengebirge.

For the way back, we first follow the familiar route and then turn off onto a meadow path, which takes us back to the bus stop.

At the hut, we are spoiled with home-made delicacies by Maria.

Tip: Be sure to try the Kaiserschmarrn or the curd cheese strudel!
