Trenser Höhenweg: "Pilgrimage towards the fall"

The circular trail on the Trenser Höhenweg connects the pilgrimage site of Maria Trens with the nearby Sprechenstein castle. The castle is situated on a rocky ridge, from where there is a magnificent view over the Sterzing valley floor. The castle itself cannot be visited. The return to Maria Trens is via the stations of the Trens pilgrimage route.
