When the waterfalls in Paznaun turn to ice, a very special mountain world awakens. In Kappl and See, eight routes between WI3 (rather beginner-friendly) and WI6 (for experts) invite you to go ice climbing. The Josè Gföll and Fernando Gföll waterfalls are particularly popular, while the Ladylike Holdernach waterfall, for example, is more technically demanding.
Experienced mountain guides accompany you safely through each route, teach you the technique and assess the ice and conditions. An experience that combines adventure, nature and challenge - perfect for anyone who wants to go high (subject to booking and weather conditions).
