The legends OF THE DOLOMITES

The enchanted places of our valleys have been the scene of many popular legends over the years.

The most famous is the "Regno dei Fanes", which tells the story of Princess Dolasilla and is also brought to life in the historical village parades.

The credit for bringing the characters of the Ladin valleys back to life goes to the Tyrolean journalist Karl Felix Wolff, who collected the testimonies and customs of the different areas of Tyrol in order to better document his tales.
