Wilten Boys' Choir

The late summer court church concerts of the Wilten Boys' Choir start again in Innsbruck on 30.8.2024.

The concert series has been very popular with both locals and tourists for years, not least because of the fantastic atmosphere of the "Schwarzmanderkirche". This year, the Wilten Boys' Choir, under the direction of Johannes Stecher, will present music from the late Renaissance to the early Baroque period and the 21st century, including excerpts from Claudio Monteverdi's Vespers for the Blessed Virgin Mary and Anton Bruckner's great Mass in E minor, as well as works by Viadana, Schütz, Rutter and Stecher - music that is particularly expressive thanks to the clear, bright sound of the boys' voices! Folk songs from Tyrol round off the program.
