Culinary valley hike

On this "gourmet tour" in the truest sense of the word, the diverse natural impressions of the valley floor and panoramic views of the middle altitude are combined with the finest culinary delights. Get to know the most enjoyable cul-de-sac in the world from its most beautiful side on your own.

The start (between 10.30 am and 11.00 am) is at the Hotel Tradizio with an aperitif with homemade hay flower syrup and regional starters. After the first stage of the hike, you may be full of fresh air and beautiful views, but the homemade Maultaschen with creamed mushrooms, veal jus and parsley (or a vegetarian option with a herb filling) awaits you and your hunger with a glass of wine at the Hotel Birkenhöhe .

The second stage of the hike is perfect for a digestive walk and takes you past impressive water and natural monuments to the Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg. You've really earned the fragrant Kaiserschmarren made according to grandma's recipe, complete with hot drink, and can reflect on the impressions of the hike with a view into the valley.

Please plan your hike so that you arrive at the Hotel Birkenhöhe by 1.30 pm at the latest and at the Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg by 5 pm at the latest. Ideally, you should take a whole day.

Hotel Tradizio to Birkenhöhe: approx. 1.5 to 2h walking time (without Zafernalift approx. 2 to 2.5h)

Birkenhöhe to Sonnenburg: approx. 2h walking time
