Hike through the 1,000-step gorge

We take the hotel shuttle to Parcines/Partschins to the Texelbahn cable car, which takes us up to the Giggelberg mountain station at 1,544m. Here you can already enjoy a fantastic view of the lower Vinschgau Valley and the Merano basin. From the mountain station, we hike up and down the Merano High Mountain Trail, past beautiful mountain farms in the direction of the Brunnen and Lahnbach valleys, known as the "Valley of a Thousand Steps". The gorge with its waterfalls and the adventurous high-level trail are an experience you won't soon forget. After around 3.5 hours, we reach the Unterstell inn, where we have already reached our final destination. From there, we take the Unterstell cable car down to Naturns.
