Ski Touring Day for Beginners
Experience the winter mountain scenery and the thrill of ski touring.
Every Tuesday from December 22, 2026, through March 30, 2027
Experience the winter wonderland of Kleinwalsertal on a ski tour and get a first glimpse into the techniques of this fascinating sport. Get to know the ski touring equipment as well as the most important ascent and descent techniques, and receive a brief introduction to avalanche safety and tour planning. After the ascent, enjoy an unforgettable view of the Walser mountains and a descent back down into the valley through powdery snow or crisp firn.
Prerequisites: Good skiing ability on black runs, and the physical fitness for an ascent of approximately 2 hours.
Equipment: Bring your own ski touring gear, including skins (see sports rental for rental equipment), and a daypack with provisions.
An avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe are provided.
Meeting point: Walserhaus Hirschegg at 9:00 a.m.
Duration: approx. 4 to 5 hours
Price: €115.00 (excluding skis, poles, skins, and lift ticket) – not suitable for children.
What to bring: Your own ski equipment, booking confirmation.
