Start your circular hike directly from the hotel with an intermediate destination Gasthof Kirchbrücke for the widely known trout meal from our own breeding. The hiking trail starts behind the hotel and leads to about the height of the Europabrücke. Shortly before reaching the bridge the Stollensteig branches off. This romantic and at the same time idyllic path runs in the direction of the Stubaital, partly as a root path, but for the most part evenly into the valley. At the point before you cross the Ruetz glacier river at the Kirchbrücke bridge and change the side of the valley, you continue around a bend for another 50 metres and then reach the Kirchbrücke inn. Reward yourself with the deliciously prepared freshly caught mountain brook trout or other delicacies at the Kirchbrücke Inn. For the way back you cross the Ruetzbach at the Kirchbrücke and hike via Gallhof and Telfeser Lärchenwiesen back to Hotel Stefansbrücke. The hike is not difficult and also suitable for families. Duration approx. 2 hours there and 2 hours back. From 2 nights you get a ticket for unlimited use of public transport in and around Innsbruck to explore the city and surrounding villages.
