Tour on August 10

Starting from the parking lot at the Aualm in Großarl, this varied mountain tour first leads to the Liechtensteinkopf and continues over the Aukopf to the striking Schuhflicker. Along the scenic ridgeline, impressive panoramic views of the surrounding peaks of the Salzburg Alps unfold. After reaching the summit, the trail leads to the idyllically situated Schuhflickersee, which invites you to take a short break. The hike combines scenic peaks, alpine landscapes, and a picturesque mountain lake into a varied mountain experience.

Tour August 11

The Gerstreidalm, on the sunny side of the Ellmau Valley in Großarl, lies at 1,575 m. In about 1 hour, we’ll hike up to this alpine pasture and enjoy the magnificent view along with a tasty snack or a slice of homemade cake. The descent takes us along a beautiful trail back to the starting point at the Vorderstadluck parking lot.
