Ropeways and energy

With an energy volume of 750 GWh (= 0.75 TWh), the ropeways, including technical snowmaking, require an electrical energy share of 1.2 % of Austria's total electricity demand. Most ropeways now obtain electricity almost exclusively from renewable energy sources.
