Advanced training day "Yodeling" in Glentleiten

Training day for adults organized by the Landesverein für Heimatpflege

Yodeling probably originated from the calls of cattle herders. It has developed into a special art form of folk singing in the Alpine region.

The aim of this training day is to learn the technique of yodeling and to practice it using selected examples. All participants will learn to yodel, not the virtuoso yodeling produced by professional throat acrobats in show business, but the traditional yodel in traditional polyphony (two, three and four voices). A very special sound experience for the senses!
