The "Westküstenpark" animal park in St. Peter-Ording is a nature adventure animal park with mainly native animal species and offers a variety of adventure and educational activities. The birds and other inhabitants can be observed in their natural behavior in large open-air enclosures and extensive outdoor enclosures. During the daily moderated feedings, visitors who have not booked an educational program can also learn a lot of interesting facts about the animals and species conservation. A special attraction is the seal barium filled with 1.2 million liters of North Sea water. The seals are fed twice a day, while the keeper informs the audience about their way of life and shows them little tricks.
