September 24, 2026: Saukarkopf

The hike to the Saukarkopf starts right from the center of Großarl. From the Gerstreitalm to the Reschenbergalm and from the Reschenbergalm to the Saukaralm at an elevation of 1,850 meters. From there, it’s about a 45-minute walk to the Saukarkopf.

After taking in the panoramic views from the summit, you can return to the Saukaralm to fully enjoy a snack. Those who wish can also spend the night at the alpine hut.
