Description
"A Village Stinks to High Heaven"
A quirky Allgäu mystery filled with humor and local color!
A bag of manure at the weekly market, an attack on the “Bschütte” at the fire department festival, and a tractor blockade: Things are heating up in Oberstaufen.
In his new novel, Bernhard Lingg takes aim at the conflict between agriculture and tourism—with plenty of Allgäu humor and a thrilling story centered on love, power, and wounded pride.
The author, who grew up in Oberstaufen, will read from his book and talk about how it came to be.
You can also look forward to a tongue-in-cheek language course: “Allgäu Dialect for Non-Allgäuers.”
