Details

At the beginning of the First World War in 1914, the Imperial and Royal Army

built trenches and caverns in the Teiser area.

These installations were intended to slow down, if not stop, the advance of Italian troops into the

Eisack Valley. As the Tyrolean front

stood firm in the south, the installations were never used for war purposes.

The "Teis Trenches Working Group" has set itself the task

of researching the construction of the trenches in more detail,

preserving important structural objects and making the installations accessible to

the public.

Join us on a journey through time and discover

impressive historical buildings!
