Artcycling with Pill Blisters
In this Artcycling workshop, we’ll work with a material that usually ends up unnoticed in the trash: empty pill blisters. What serves merely as packaging in everyday life becomes a creative design element.
Together, we’ll apply the blister packs to the canvas, partially paint over them, and deliberately leave their transparent domes visible. This creates fascinating surfaces with an exciting interplay of texture, light, and depth. From the multitude of different shapes, a unique, multi-layered work of art emerges.
The blister packs used are collected through a neighborhood assistance program for older adults and are given a new lease on life in this workshop. In this way, PACK THE BLISTER combines creative design with sustainability and demonstrates how something valuable and unique can emerge from what is often considered waste.
The workshop invites participants to see materials with fresh eyes, experiment creatively, and discover the joy of artistic creation.
ARTcycling – New Life for Packaging
In this workshop, everyday packaging materials are transformed into something special. Using acrylic paints, collage techniques, and unusual materials like ash, coffee, and rust, participants create abstract works of art that demonstrate: Nothing is worthless—it all depends on what we make of it. Your artwork, your creativity, your ARTcycling.
The course is free for coolnest guests.
