In the middle of Rust on Lake Neusiedl, just a few steps from the historic town center, lies a place that makes Pannonian joie de vivre tangible: the Buschenschank Peter Schandl.
Between old walls & vines, genuine wine tavern culture meets relaxed hospitality here. Classic Burgenland specialties, lovingly prepared snack variations, homemade spreads and seasonal delicacies are served - accompanied by characterful wines from our own production.
In the shady courtyard or in the cozy dining room, a special atmosphere is created that makes a summer evening last longer: a glass of wine in your hand, good conversation at the table, the feeling of being in exactly the right place.
A visit combines enjoyment with regionality - uncomplicated, honest and with a lot of heart. Perfect after a bike tour through the vineyards, a walk through Rust or simply as an enjoyable end to the day at Lake Neusiedl.
