Georgitag in Ruhpolding

Riding clubs and farmers ask "St. George's honor" for the blessing of their patron saint.

After a field service, riders and animals make their way back to the center of town, where the procession slowly disperses.

Stroll through car-free Ruhpolding following the Georgi ride from approx. 11.00 am!

On the initiative of the Tourism and Business Association of Ruhpolding e.V., the entire village center of Ruhpolding is transformed into a single festival square.

The village is closed to traffic until 20.30. The stores are open until 16.00.

At many places music groups play - in any case "zünftig". Lots of attractions await the visitor of the Georgitag. "Brotzeiten" and "Schmankerl" for the hungry.
