Description
Drive to Campitello with our minibus. There we take the cable car up to Col Rodella 2480 m.
This is where our hike begins. After a short descent to the Friedrich August hut at 2,300 m, we hike along the beautiful Friedrich August trail at the foot of the Sassolungo massif towards the Alpe di Siusi to the Sassopiatto Hut at 2,300 m, where we stop to eat.
After a short lunch break, we descend through the Duron valley, past the Micheluzzi hut at 1,850 m to Campitello at 1,450 m, the starting point of the hike.
It is possible to take a mountain cab from the Micheluzzi hut to Campitello (for a fee)
Moderately difficult hike!

Altitude difference: 100 m uphill/900 m downhill
