Jägersee - easy

The idyllically situated Jägersee is a popular day trip experience for young and old alike. You can reach the lake by car in just 25 minutes.

You can hire small rowing boats from Gasthof Jägersee during the summer months and row across the lake.

Tip: If Jägersee isn't enough for you, you can hike to Tappenkarsee in around two and a half hours.

Please note that the barrier to the Tappenkarsee parking lot will be closed from the end of September.

Please therefore use the parking lot directly at the Jägersee as the starting point for your hike.

We would like to point out that this will extend the walking time by approx. one hour.
