Caving - beginners' tour

Take a guided tour and get to know the "underworld" on a cave climb. Your guide will prepare you for the tour before the descent and explain how to use the equipment. Then nothing stands in the way of your exploration. You don't need to have any special qualifications. We offer tours for both first-time climbers and experienced "cavers". You should be a bit sporty, as you will sometimes have to crawl through the passages. Clothing should also be chosen so that it can get dirty. Sturdy shoes are a prerequisite. Everything else, such as helmets and headlamps, will be provided.

The Elbe Sandstone Mountains are popular with climbers from all over the world. Bizarre rocks and magnificent views give the area a special charm. But Saxon Switzerland has even more to offer. Many caves provide an insight into the formation of the mountains.

• You will receive headlamps and the necessary safety equipment
• These tours are only conducted in small groups
• Each participant signs a cave book when they reach the site
