Experience an impressive blend of nature, exercise, and adventure in the Innsbruck Adventure Region on this guided circular hike through the Telfer Klamm in Telfs.
Every Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., after a short bus ride, the tour begins along the scenic Telfer Klammsteig trail, which leads steadily uphill through the gorge via small bridges, an impressive wooden staircase, and a 30-meter-long steel cable suspension bridge. The route then continues at a leisurely pace down a forest trail back toward Lehen, where the inn of the same name offers the perfect spot for a hearty break. The hike is also suitable for families with older children aged 6 and up, but requires sure-footedness as well as hiking or mountaineering boots and appropriate clothing.
The meeting point is the Telfs Tourist Information Office, Untermarktstraße 1, 6410 Telfs; the walking time is approximately 2.5 hours, and the route covers about 5 kilometers with a 300-meter ascent and a 400-meter descent. With a valid Welcome Card, the corresponding terms and conditions apply; the card must be presented to the guide before the tour begins. Dogs are not permitted, and free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the tour starts. Should the hike be canceled due to insufficient participation, inclement weather, alpine hazards, official measures, or other unforeseeable circumstances, any participation fees already paid will, of course, be refunded in full.
