On the way on the Gantakopf circular trail

This hike promises you not only beautiful views of the Montafon mountains, but also interesting insights into unique animal species of the valley. After a short, crisp climb over the Gantakopf above St. Gallenkirch, your path leads you through a beautiful mountain panorama, where with a little luck you can also spot one or two wild animals. Especially exciting, however, are the only two animal species originating from Vorarlberg that you will get to know on this hike - the Montafon brown cattle and the Montafon stone sheep. Both are an important part of our cultural heritage, which we carefully preserve.
