Description
Together with hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller, we set off comfortably by bus from Welschnofen to Obereggen. The hike leads through varied alpine landscapes, past dense forests and on to the high trail on the Latemar. We take short breaks below the imposing Latemar to enjoy the impressive panoramas. The trail offers magnificent views of the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortler region. At a viewing platform with a 360° panoramic view, we can take in the scenery in peace before climbing up to the Oberholz mountain hut, where there is time for a lunch break. The route then leads back to Obereggen, from where we take the bus back to Welschnofen. Alternatively, you can take the Oberholz lift down into the valley.
