Sunday brunch with a difference: 3-course picnic tour to the smallest but finest table mountains in the region.

Unique in its shape, once referred to as the "symbol of mathematicians", the Zirkelstein is easily recognizable from afar. Once we have mastered the short ascent, we enjoy our first appetizer with a 360° view of the Saxon-Bohemian National Park region. Even Saxony's kings have enjoyed this here.

At lunchtime, we enjoy a hearty, regional picnic fresh from the rucksack in the shade of the forest. We then hike to the famous "Kaiserkrone" table mountain. Vis à vis the majestic Schrammstein range and the highest mountain in the national park, the Großer Winterberg, we enjoy the fabulous view for dessert.

Please bring

.... a small rucksack with enough space for a BrotZeit box. Our 3-course picnic is prepared with love and care. In the spirit of team spirit and to strengthen the sense of community, each participant carries part of the picnic from the meeting point to the rest area. Please also bring enough water or other drinks for the duration of approx. 4 hours (if you wish, you can also order these from us in the next order step and we will bring the drinks to the meeting point).

Sturdy footwear is recommended for this easy to moderately demanding hike. The tour leads along mostly easy field paths, but includes short, steep climbs to the summits via steps and ladders. Sure-footedness required. Thanks to the varied route, the tour is also suitable for families.

A minimum age of 6 years is recommended for the tour. Small children who "hike along" in a carrier and snack on the picnic provided by the adults can join the tour free of charge at any time. A brief note on the age/number of children in the booking notes is sufficient here. Children from 7 to 14 years who would like to eat with you will receive a reduced ticket.

Leave your car behind! - The meeting point at Schöna village square is easily accessible by public bus 252 (bus stop "Dorfplatz Schöna" - direction "Schöna"). You can board the bus in the town of Bad Schandau or at the national park train station. Holidaymakers with a mobile guest card can use the bus free of charge. The tour does not start before the bus arrives. The tour ends in such a way that we can easily catch the bus back.
