Via ferrata waterfall St. Anton i. M.

The new Wasserfall via ferrata is located just above the center of St. Anton im Montafon. Although this via ferrata is considered easy to access, it should not be underestimated. The via ferrata features easy sections (difficulty level B/C) as well as two vertical and exposed key sections (difficulty level D). There is no emergency exit.

The highlights include two suspension bridges over roaring waterfalls, fantastic views, and a vertical rock face. Adequate upper body strength, a head for heights, and experience with via ferrata climbing are absolutely essential!

Meeting point: Via ferrata parking lot in St. Anton im Montafon (walk approx. 200 meters from the train station along the road toward Bludenz)

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours (climbing time only: approx. 1.5 hours)

Equipment: closed-toe shoes with good traction; warm clothing (hat, gloves, etc.) is recommended in cold weather

Uncertain weather:

In wet weather or on wet rock (due to rain in the morning), climbing will most likely not take place (slip hazard)—in this case, the booking will be canceled free of charge, but there is no alternative date in addition to the regular dates.
