Car-free day on Niger Road

On Sunday, June 14 and Sunday, September 20, the Nigerstraße at the foot of the Rosengarten is reserved exclusively for hikers and cyclists. From 08:30 to 16:00, the road is closed to car and motorcycle traffic. The cable cars from Welschnofen and Tiers take all visitors comfortably and car-free to the Nigerstraße. Along the route, the inns invite you to enjoy culinary delights, and a horse-drawn carriage runs every half hour between Franzin Alm and Frommer Alm. E-bikes can be hired from the bike rental shop at the mountain station of the Welschnofen/Frommer Alm gondola lift.

At the same time, families can enjoy the Carezza Family Sunday: For just 45 euros, 2 adults and 2 children enjoy unlimited travel on all 6 Carezza Dolomites summer mountain lifts.
