Salt from the Dürnberg not only gave the city and province of Salzburg its name. The high profits from the trade in "white gold" also made the Salzburg archbishops rich and powerful. The dramatic story of the rise and fall of the dazzling princes is told in the Salt Worlds. Immerse yourself in the mysterious world underground. Glide through the deepest tunnels on the mine train and hurtle down fast miners' slides into the heart of the mountain. Total duration of visit including Celtic village approx. 2.5 hours. On presentation of a valid admission ticket (expiry date 7 days) to the Bad Dürnberg Salt Mine, admission to the Celtic Museum is free. Children under the age of 4 are not allowed in the mine!
