Details

An enchanting forest hike, past karst springs, to an idyllic little mountain lake. Even in bad weather, this hike has its own charm.

Since the route runs mostly through a densely forested area, off the beaten path, we’d be sheltered from the rain by the thick canopy and could continue hiking with dry feet.

At the end of our hike, at Ödensee, we can stop for a break at the “Kohlröserlhütte” before heading back across the high moor.

In good weather, you can swim in Lake Ödensee during the summer months.

Mosquito repellent is recommended for this hike.
