Snowshoe Hike: On the Sunny Side of the Heuberg
Easy snowshoe hike at a moderate elevation along a scenic route.
Every Friday from December 25, 2026, to April 2, 2027
This easy snowshoe tour is a wonderful way to both start and end your vacation. The scenic route at the foot of the Heuberg invites you to let your gaze wander along the valley. We’ll be able to admire nearly all the mountains surrounding the Kleinwalsertal on this tour. Above all, we’ll marvel at the Großer Widderstein, the majestic peak of the valley standing at 2,533 m. The guide will enrich this tour with interesting and informative details about the valley’s history.
Time and meeting point: 1:30 p.m., Bergschule Kleinwalsertal
Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
Price: €54, including snowshoes and poles; avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe—if necessary (rental)
Children: Ages 12 and up accompanied by an adult, minimum shoe size 36
Fitness level: Fitness level required for ascents of up to 200 hm and walking times of up to 3 hours.
